Its specific gravity ranges from 2,600 to 2,700 kg/m³. Onyx is commonly found in stunning shades of white, green, pink, honey, cream, brown, and gray — often accented by striking, eye-catching veining.

Due to its beauty and translucency, onyx is mainly used in upscale interior spaces such as lobbies, feature walls, bathrooms, stone countertops, column cladding, and the floors of exclusive halls. It is available in both tile and slab sizes and can be finished in polished, honed (matte), leathered, as well as bookmatch and four-match patterns.
